Description & Scope

LM IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU IF YOU:

  • Prefer a Strict 9 to 5. You will be paid for every second you work but if you are looking for a cubical to clock into and to do work that no one relies on than this is not for you.

  • Lack Passion: We're dedicated to our craft, our clients, and our company. Apathy has no place here you have to care to work here.

  • Struggle with People . We work with people 100% of the time. Whether it is clients, contractors, or staff we are having to deal with people and if the concept of doing people focused work makes you sick please don’t apply.

  • Can’t Meet Deadlines . LM is a small agency and everyone is dependent on the work others do so if you are unable to or uninterested in managing your time to meet the necessary deadlines this will not be a good fit.

  • Communicate Poorly . Communication is the backbone of everything we do at LM if you aren’t able to ask for help, communicate project statuses, or respond to messages then you will hate LM.

 

POSITION SPECIFICS:

  • Entry/Internship Level: This is an entry level role offering hands-on experience and training for individuals as needed. Responsibilities, expectations, and pay scale will adjust based on experience.

  • Location: Hybrid. Candidates are expected to work in our Lancaster City office at least 50% of there hours for collaboration and team meetings. (all interviews will be conducted in person to ensure a good fit).

  • Position Type: Part-time, 20 hours a week, with a clear path to transition into a long-term position based on performance and business needs.

  • Salary: Starting at $13 an hour for interns with the potential to grow to a long term position starting at $18 an hour, plus a profit share in LM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and Animation: Create compelling graphics and animations to elevate our video content, ensuring each piece is engaging and effective.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Project Producers to align design elements with client goals and project vision, ensuring a cohesive and strategic approach to each campaign.

  • Organization: Efficiently manage and organize project files for easy access and future retrieval, supporting our team's workflow and productivity.

  • Content Creation: Contribute to the development of Lifestyled Media’s own marketing materials, showcasing our capabilities and creativity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Learning Attitude: This position is designed to foster growth and learning. If you have a foundational knowledge in design and a keen interest in developing your skills further, we encourage you to apply.

  • Foundational Design Knowledge: While specific years of experience are not a barrier, a practical understanding and passion for design are crucial. Be prepared to discuss your experience and learning journey.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects). Experience with typography, design, color correction, and branding is highly valued.
