Background:

Cris Cavallari, a serial entrepreneur, has been launching successful brands for more than 10 years.

Cris came to us with each of her brands thriving separately: a clothing line, a rental studio, a podcast talk show — and plans for more. With little overarching strategy to connect her brands, she knew she was missing out on opportunities to cross-market her different audiences. We worked with Cris to establish a unified brand and marketing strategy to link her businesses together under one recognizable name: hers.

In Phase 01 we needed to start by defining how all of the Cris Cavallari (CC) brands would work together and then develop a hook that could be used for positioning as well as unifying connect all of her brands together

Logo Family

One of the biggest challenge Cris’s businesses faced was lack of consistency. Even her most successful business, ICCON, didn’t adhere to any meaningful brand standards — our initial brand audit found multiple versions of the ICCON logo in use.

To increase brand recognition, we provided Cris with a cohesive logo system and guidelines.

Messaging

Next, we had to find a common thread to tie all her different ventures together. We landed on her concept of an “ICCON:” a bold, unstoppable, and unapologetic woman. Based on this definition, we developed messaging to define each brand while identifying it clearly as part of the overall Cris Cavallari brand family.
